Denmark’s national broadcasting corporation DR is to air Doctor Who from March 3rd.
And finally Denmark has given in. DR is airing Doctor Who, starting from the 5th series with Matt Smith’s 11th incarnation. Most Danes may think back to the late 70’s, The Doctor in the shape of Tom Baker.
DR did air the first season from ‘New Who’ – as many call it – in 2006 but without much success. Now they’re trying again with Matt Smith in the leading role.

The first episode will be aired on Saturday the 3rd of March at 20:00 on DR HD. From there on it will continue to air every Saturday at 20:00. Reviews will air every Sunday about 14:00 and Wednesdays at about 18:00.
